✨~A peek into the day and life of what it means to Create to Nourish~✨
A Sparkle Pirate is a powerful and empowering archetype that represents a woman who fearlessly embraces her uniqueness, unleashes her creativity, and navigates life with resilience and joy. The term "Sparkle Pirate" symbolizes strength, resilience, and boundless creativity, combining the sparkle that radiates from within and the courage
Are you a woman in midlife feeling like you need a “change,” but you are not quite sure how to sort out what you need? Maybe you are feeling exhausted and used up and wondering to yourself, “is this all there is?”
From my midlife life heart to yours, I am so excited you are here.
Sparkle Pirate Coaching is for women who are learning to embrace the patina of their life as evidence of experience lived. What sets my coaching apart is my emphasis on honoring both the grace and grit of the midlife passage. At the same time, I also seek to relieve the pains that often show up during the midlife passage with a devoted “unshaming” approach to healing.
Claiming your beautiful, messy life is about embracing the full spectrum of your experiences, both the highs and the lows, the triumphs and the challenges. It means acknowledging that life can be messy, unpredictable, and imperfect, but within that messiness lies a wealth of growth, learning, and beauty. When you claim your beautiful, messy life, you accept yourself and your journey unconditionally, recognizing that every experience, even the messy ones, has shaped you into the resilient, wise, and extraordinary woman you are today. It's about embracing your flaws, owning your story, and finding the courage to live authentically on your own terms.
INTREPID, IRREPRESSIBLE JOY…
Life longing to be expressed
Touch me and unite me with my most honest essence
Electrify me with your ideas.
Unravel my fear and expose me to what I can no longer avoid, deny or suppress
In all my classes, I encourage my students to commit to using their curiosity to explore what is emerging within and in front of them. To do this we learn to let go and surrender to where our creativity wants to take us. We practice not being attached to the outcome. This is one way to encounter your muse. I remind my students that they can use this kind of curiosity to dance with their lives as well. This is how trust is formed. I teach each of my students that their marks are the evidence and declaration of their precious selfhood and that each line holds their signature of energy.
I promise you, Intrepid Joy doesn’t necessarily mean living in a continuous bliss-ed out state of joy.
I take lot of little detours and gnash and fight with reality… (I might even swear a tiny bit.)
But ultimately… I come back home to myself and reconnect to the part of my Soul and Spirit that is imploring me to be claim my precious life!
I explore all these elements of hurting and healing, evolving and transforming in my ART and as I live my life.
It helps me to process all the things that awe and unsettle me. I would so love to help you find your way to digest the events of your life so that you are able to live more freely!
No matter what, I believe there is a way!
I created this image with this beautiful quotation as a part of my intrepid joy series several months ago. If you look at the image, the subtle message inside is a plug and a plot for you to claim the freedom you crave. Now, as we are approaching the sixth week of our “Shelter at Home” mandate, I find these words and image more clarifying and relevant than ever. The truth is, I’ve spent years thinking about the clearing I’ve been craving. Thinking like this never gets me any useful traction. As I reflect, it was never about the time I thought I needed. It was about claiming the stillness that helps me access my clarity.
According the the Merriam-Webster dictionary the definition for Wonder is…

2. the quality of exciting amazed admiration
3. rapt attention or astonishment at something awesomely mysterious or new to one's experience.
And this is exactly what I felt when I saw these beautiful flower friends pop up in my garden. They come from the very same pot I put them in thirteen years ago. They’re called a fritllaria meleagris, or Scarlet Bells, but I call them fairy skirts. The geometric pattern baffles my mind. What a flashy show for such a small delicate flower. My reward for looking close. It speaks to my absolute conviction that ...
It is just as simple as that my dear one. Your muse awaits you. I promise you that resisting her is a lot more challenging than giving in. But in case you need more evidence, check out the wise words below and then let this picture to the left drive home the point.
